* Fustrate is a do-er and a thinker, but not a thinker when it comes to thinking about what to do before doing the doing.

SMF survived because several people stuck it out, and when new ones came in, they too stayed on to see at least their dreams and wishes for it be fullfilled. ATM thats hard to locate in Youra, and sad, since there were so much energy flowing at the beginning of the year.
Well from what I can tell, the only reason why SMF survived was [Unknown] did most of the coding himself and poured countless hours into it.

I'm sure, as Fustrate has done, if someone just does it all people will eventually jump on board.

But I think long ago when the passion was high and the fire in everyone belly was red hot that I hoped it would stay they way, but knew it wouldn't.

THAT was what i was talking about. Unknown stuck it out. But he didn't do it alone, Compuart, grudge on so on stayed on and made sure SMF was kept on the same course.

SMF was never a "step-child", and that I do hope people here realizes. So stop talking about "fresh blood" and "doers and talkers" lol, thats not really that important and certainly won't help on the stability of the project: to just keep replacing people...?

Whats important is that some of you, or even just one, can have the passion to follow it through. Adopt as your own, if you wish.

There are plenty people who will see it through, Bloc. I hope you realize this is a part time job for all of us. With no clear direction on certain issues. And a broad group of people at different skill levels and with different habits. These things take time. I, for instance, have a full time job, plus part time freelancing and then on top of that at least 10 unpaid projects. Including this one.

So stop making these threads. They are pointless and achieve nothing.
